How To Apply

Membership in the Orlando Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is by invitation only.

Many times new members will join based on the recommendation of existing members, but you may also directly inquire about membership to our bailliage on this website. The number of members accepted each year depends upon the current membership, and sometimes there can be a waiting list.

All prospective members are required to attend an event before joining so that they may find out what the Orlando Chaîne is all about. Once an application has been submitted and approved, new members are inducted at our Annual Induction Gala.

Each new member will receive a diploma and appropriate ribbon signifying their official membership in the organization. All members wear their ribbons when attending all Chaîne events.

There are three steps to membership:

  1. After contacting our Bailli, you will be sent information on the Chaîne and our bailliage, including a schedule of upcoming events. Once you have attended an event, you will be asked to complete and sign a Chaîne Application Form and return it with your payments. You will need to be nominated by a Chaîne member in good standing. If you don’t know a member, a board officer may nominate you.
  2. Your completed application form and nomination will be forwarded to the National Office for validation and registration.
  3. Following completion of these procedures, your membership is active.  You will be formally ‘sworn in’ and receive your ‘ribbon’ at the annual black tie Induction Dinner, usually held in the first quarter of the year.
